2007 saw the addition and opening of
The Wheel House doubling our capacity and enabling us to meet the demands of our
always ever increasing popularity. This gave us space for a delightful dedicated stage and entertainments area, where
twice weekly (normally) we host live bands, jazz music and entertainment.

A feature of this new extension, arranged at ground floor and at gallery mezzanine level, are the handsome, chunky, wooden tables - some
of them huge - making it an ideal venue for
weddings
and
parties.
Sea-faring paraphernalia
abounds, which combined with low beamed ceilings, atmospheric lighting and great
food, makes for an unforgettable dining experience. We also hold our famous
(infamous?) themed evenings intermittently throughout the year.
You can enjoy bar snacks, dishes of the day, or full a la carte in The Wheel
House; even whilst listening to live jazz if you come on Wednesday or Thursday
evenings.
