SEA-FOOD RESTAURANT

 The smaller dining area known as "The Restaurant" is the original
restaurant at The Anchor Inn.
Tucked away to the right as you
enter by the main door, this restaurant is situated away from the
Wheel House extension with its stage and live jazz, and thus more
intimate for tranquil dining. Candle-lit, and home to a roaring
open fire in winter, the restaurant is full of character and nautical
effects. At lunch time, you can
enjoy a bar snack or a meal from the a la carte menu in this
restaurant, but after 6pm, only a la carte, or the special fish dishes
of the day, are available in this area.
The Anchor Inn is famous for its seafood
dishes - offering a huge variety to choose from, with literally dozens
of mussel menus, scallop dishes, seafood platters, and of course, the
seafood dishes of the day. We don't neglect our diners who are
carnivores or vegetarians either - we offer again, a wide variety of
steak, meat, chicken and vegetarian dishes, something to suit all
tastes.
